Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to free Discovery Calls and paid Strategy Sessions booked through Ladybugz Academy using our scheduling provider (currently Acuity Scheduling) and, for Strategy Sessions, paid through a GoDaddy payment link, as well as our free downloadable resources. We may change our scheduling provider in the future, and this Policy will be updated when appropriate. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.

1. Free Discovery Calls

Discovery Calls are free, so no refund is involved. If you cannot make a scheduled Discovery Call, please cancel or reschedule as early as possible so the time can be offered to someone else. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may limit your ability to book future complimentary Discovery Calls.

2. Paid Strategy Sessions — Cancellations by You

48 hours or more before the session: You may choose either a full refund or one complimentary reschedule.

Less than 48 hours before the session: Cancellations are generally nonrefundable.

Emergencies or exceptional circumstances: At our discretion, we may offer one rescheduling opportunity for a genuine emergency or exceptional circumstance, even where notice was less than 48 hours. We may ask for supporting documentation when appropriate, but we will not require it automatically in every case.

Using a complimentary reschedule: A complimentary reschedule must be used within 60 days of the original appointment date, subject to availability.

3. No-Shows and Late Arrivals

No-shows: If you do not join or contact us within the 10-minute grace period described below, your session fee is generally forfeited. We may grant a rare exception at our discretion.

Grace period: You have a 10-minute grace period from the scheduled start time to join or contact us. If we have not heard from you or seen you join within that window, we may treat the session as a no-show.

Late arrivals: If you join within the 10-minute grace period, your session will proceed, but it will still end at the originally scheduled end time — the session is not extended to make up for a late arrival.

4. If Ladybugz Academy Cancels or Interrupts a Session

Cancellation before the session begins: If we need to cancel a Strategy Session before it begins, you may choose either a full reschedule or a full refund.

Interruption after the session has begun: If a Strategy Session has already begun and is partially delivered before being interrupted, any refund will be prorated based on the portion of the session that was not delivered.

Technical failures caused by us: If a technical failure within our control (for example, a broken link or platform issue on our end) prevents delivery of a Strategy Session, we will offer you a reschedule or a refund.

5. Duplicate Payments and Billing Errors

If we verify that you were charged more than once for the same Strategy Session, we will refund the duplicate charge promptly.

6. Timing of Refunds

We will submit approved refunds promptly on our end. We do not control, and cannot promise, how quickly your bank or payment provider will post the credit to your account once we have submitted it.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or raise a question about a charge, email contact@ladybugzacademy.com and include your name, the date of your session, and your payment confirmation (such as a receipt or confirmation number).

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, we encourage you to contact us first at contact@ladybugzacademy.com so we can try to resolve it directly, before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. This request does not limit any lawful card-dispute or chargeback rights you may have.

9. Free Downloadable Resources

The Mini eBook and other free downloadable resources are provided at no cost, so no purchase is made and no refund is applicable.

10. Future Paid Digital Products, Courses, or Programs

Paid digital downloads, courses, memberships, and training programs beyond the Strategy Sessions described above may be offered from time to time. Any such offering may carry its own, offer-specific refund and cancellation terms, which will be disclosed to you before you purchase it, rather than governed by the general rules set out in this Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
