Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ladybugz Bookstore LLC, doing business as Ladybugz Academy ("Ladybugz Academy," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information in connection with the Ladybugz Academy website (the "Site") and the free and paid services described on the Site. Please read this Policy together with our Terms of Use.

1. Information We Collect

The Site does not have user accounts, an on-site contact form, on-site payment processing, a chatbot, advertising pixels, analytics tools, a newsletter sign-up form, or a customer portal as of the effective date above. Because of this, most information that touches Ladybugz Academy passes through the specific channels described below, rather than through the Site directly.

Server and hosting logs: Our website host automatically generates standard technical logs when you visit the Site (such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps). We use these logs, to the extent we access them, only for basic site operation and security, and we do not currently combine them with analytics or advertising tools.

Free downloadable resources: The "Launch Smart" Mini eBook can be downloaded without creating an account and without submitting personal information to us directly beyond what your browser and our host may log.

Launch Readiness Scorecard: The Launch Readiness Scorecard is accessed through a separate Ladybugz Academy subdomain or technology platform. Information entered into the Scorecard may be processed by Ladybugz Academy and the technology providers supporting that service. The applicable privacy terms presented through the Scorecard should be reviewed before use.

Discovery Calls and Strategy Sessions: Free Discovery Calls and paid Strategy Sessions are booked using a scheduling provider. We currently use Acuity Scheduling to manage appointments. We may change scheduling providers in the future, and this Policy will be updated when appropriate. When you book a session, our scheduling provider collects certain contact and scheduling information you choose to provide, directly, under that provider's own privacy policy. We receive the booking details reasonably necessary to prepare for and conduct your session.

Payment (GoDaddy Payment Link): Payment for Strategy Sessions is collected through a GoDaddy payment link. GoDaddy and its payment-processing partners collect and process your payment information directly, under their own privacy and security practices. Ladybugz Academy does not directly collect, view, or store your full card details.

Email correspondence: If you email us at contact@ladybugzacademy.com or otherwise correspond with us, we keep a copy of that correspondence as part of our ordinary business records.

Third-party links: The Site links to third-party websites and services. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control and this Policy does not cover.

2. What This Site Does Not Currently Do

As of the effective date above, the Site does not use analytics software, advertising or tracking pixels, a chatbot, an on-site contact form, on-site payment processing, user accounts, a newsletter opt-in form, or a customer portal. If any of these features are added, we will update this Policy to describe them.

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited information available to us — correspondence, booking details relayed by our scheduling provider, and basic server logs — to operate the Site, respond to inquiries, and provide the Discovery Calls and Strategy Sessions you request. We do not use information collected through this Site for advertising or behavioral profiling, and we do not currently collect email addresses through this Site for newsletter marketing.

4. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. Our scheduling provider and GoDaddy each receive and handle information directly from you as needed to provide their own services, under their own privacy policies — we do not control, and are not responsible for, how those third parties handle information once it is in their systems. Information entered into the Launch Readiness Scorecard may be processed by Ladybugz Academy and the technology providers supporting that service, as described in Section 1 above. We may disclose information in our possession if required to do so by law, or as reasonably necessary to protect our legal rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain business correspondence and the limited booking-related information we receive for as long as reasonably necessary for ordinary business, tax, and legal record-keeping purposes. Retention in practice may vary depending on the nature of the record and applicable requirements.

6. Your Choices and How to Reach Us

You may email us at contact@ladybugzacademy.com to ask what limited information we hold about you, to request that we delete correspondence within our control, or to ask a question about this Policy. We will handle reasonable requests concerning information we directly control in a reasonable and timely manner. Because scheduling and payment information is collected and controlled by our scheduling provider and GoDaddy, requests about that information should also be directed to those providers.

This section describes how we currently handle such requests as a matter of practice. It is not a statement that any particular state or federal privacy statute presently applies to Ladybugz Academy, and it does not represent that we comply with every state's privacy law.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business owners and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
